Course Description

The course begins and ends at Oxford's beautiful Uptown Parks in the center of Oxford. The route goes west out of the city along Contreras Road, into Indiana, and then back to Oxford again. On the way out, it loops around the Stone Creek subdivision and the Knolls retirement community. However, on the way back, it avoids all detours and is a straight shot back into town.

The course is a little challenging going from rolling to flat. The course allows for a fast finish. The last couple of miles heading back into town follow a long gradual downhill, allowing you to catch your breath before heading up "cobblestone hill" close to the finish.

• 0.0 - Uptown Parks - 3rd light pole on the north side, west of the east edge of Main St
• 1.0 - 6253 Contreras, mark is 7' east of mailbox.
• 2.0 - 191 Stone Creek Dr, mark is 9th expansion crack on south side, east of mailbox
• 3.0 - Knollwood Dr, heading north after turn-around, north of Creekside Ln at north edge of house in NE corner of intersection
• 4.0 - 7193 Contreras, mark is 19' east of mailbox
• 5.0 - 3rd telephone pole east of 7827 Contreras plus 4th longer yellow hash mark - spot is at east edge of yellow mark (telephone pole is 3rd taller one, including 1 on west side of their driveway)
• 5.3 - Enter Indiana
• 6.0 - east edge of bridge (plus 10' west) at intersection of Brookville Pike & Contreras
• 7.0 - west of 4635 Contreras - count 2 telephone poles from west edge of their property (1st pole is in their yard) - mark is approx 100' west of 2nd pole, and is even with a large tree south
• Turn Around - 4405 Contreras - mark is 4' 3" east of yellow Turn Arrow sign
• 8.0 - on Contreras, east of Harmony Rd, mark is 4' east of yellow Turn Arrow sign
• 9.0 - on Contreras, at NO HEAVY TRUCKS sign on north side, in northwest corner of Contreras / 600 E intersection
• 10.0 - on Contreras, west of Taylor Rd - mark is 21' west of west edge of grass lot
• 11.0 - 6946 Contreras - east edge of property, mark is 27' west of yellow Turn Sign/35 MPH
• 12.0 - Middle of Patrick Drive, on Contreras
• 13.0 - UDF (Beech & High Streets)
• 13.1 - Finish (intersection of East/West Parks)
