HISTORY
The Oxford American Discovery Trail (ADT) Running Club is a non-profit organization, formed in 2002. Its main
objective is to promote and encourage long distance running, and to educate the public on the many benefits of running.
In part, the State-to-State Half Marathon began as an idea to help the community celebrate the bicentennial of Ohio, and to promote
the American Discovery Trail. The American Discovery Trail is a a coast-to-coast recreational trail, which goes directly
through Oxford.
Since 2003, over $60,000+ have been donated to various local and national charities.
The Oxford ADT Running Club is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, and a member of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) at
www.rrca.org.

RACE COMMITTEE
The State-to-State races are organized by a volunteer staff. The Race Committee, include the
race coordinators, other representatives from the Oxford ADT Running Club, and people from
the local area. The Planning Group and over 250 volunteers help make the race happen on race day.
